Boekman, the foundation's periodical for arts, culture and related policy is the Dutch forum for the arts and policy. The periodical provides thematic information on trends and structural shifts in research and policy on the arts. Boekman closely follows the cultural political debate and brings research and scholarship, official public bodies and the various cultural sectors in contact with each other.

Published in Dutch, every issue includes interviews, columns, essays, articles and reviews of interesting publications. It also publishes a dossier of all relevant titles available in the library on the particular theme. Recent themes were: Photography, Money & Arts, The Museum of the Future, Film.nl and The Arts and the Sciences.
