The Boekman Foundation respects your privacy. All personal data you have entrusted to us - either in speech, writing or digitally - are handled with care and confidentiality. Data will not be shared with or sold to third parties. Our data processing conforms to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that as of May 25th 2018 uniform privacy legislation applies inside the entire European Union (EU).

The Boekman Foundation uses cookies to measure website traffic on an anonymous basis and to increase user-friendliness. In this statement we would like to explain to you what cookies are, which cookies we use, and what purposes they serve.

What are cookies
A cookie is a data file that is stored in your computer to facilitate recognition the next time you visit our website. Cookies only contain a (unique) number; they do not contain personal data. The Boekman Foundation cannot use these cookies to retrieve your identity.

Functional and technical cookies are necessary to enable the functionalities of the Boekman Foundation websites. The Compendium is not obliged to ask your consent for these cookies. They are installed as a standard and are not removed when you do not accept cookies.

Analytic cookies
To give you the best user experience and inform you optimally, we would like to know how our visitors use the website. To this end, a Google Analytics cookie is installed, a small file that is stored in your computer. The information will be anonymized as much as possible. Your IP-address and online behaviour will remain completely anonymous. The Boekman Foundation uses Google cookies to track conversions on the website. Access and rectification
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data. In order to prevent third parties from accessing your data your request needs to be accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document or, in the case of companies, a copy of a valid identity document of the organisation’s main contact person (social security numbers can be erased).
