Exhibition Sandra Veenstra
Sandra Irene Veenstra (Amsterdam, 1971), award winning Storytelling Photographer, puts daily life in a Sanny perspective, focusing on color, light and humor.
After her successful debut exhibition Sanny Views Amsterdam from February to July 2018 in the majestic Amstel Hotel, her work can now be seen until October 14, 2018 in the monumental canal house of the Boekman Foundation. The festive opening will be on Friday August 24, 2018 at 3.30 pm.
Sandra has been an international pedagogue for years. Observering is second nature to her. As a pedagogue and now a children’s rights activist, Sandra was regularly confronted with the dark side of humanity: (sexual) violence against children. With Kid for ChildRights she combats this injustice. To stay in balance and to be able to continue to see the joyful side of life, she started photographing. Where Sandra is, is her camera.
Sandra exhibits with free work, which is also for sale. Furthermore, she works in commission for companies, organizations and individuals and puts their event, neighborhood, building, family or team in a ‘Sanny’ perspective.
